DEAN’S MESSAGE

I am very pleased to welcome you to the Faculty of Education at Benadir University. The faculty is growing and repositioning itself with a new leadership team which consists of the Dean, the Associate Dean, and the Heads of Departments.

Our mission

Our mission is the preparation of qualified, knowledgeable, skilled, dedicated and committed teachers that can make significant contributions to the development of the individual students, communities and the society at large.

We strongly believe that education programmes should be transformative in nature which enhances critical thinking, creativity and caring. The faculty stuff is deeply committed in offering courses that prepare competent teachers for both public and private secondary schools.

 The programmes we offer are always responsive to needs of the society. Both full time and part time courses are offered.  The leadership team and both the academic and non-academic stuff, work together cooperatively to realize the goals of the university.

Whatever your aspirations may be, the Faculty of Education will offer you well prepared and exciting courses in an interactive, collaborative, and supportive learning environment.
